Hey lovebugs!
I think the hardest thing to do when starting your own business is ACTUALLY STARTING and remaining consistent! I know that has been one of my biggest hurdles since deciding to start BIND!
The consistency!!!
That was one of the main reasons why I started blogging this journey! I needed a way to hold myself more accountable. The launch of the cosmetics line will be March 31, 2017! I have sooooooo much to get done from today until we launch. So, this post will serve two purposes: listing a few of the major goals and ways to remain consistent/hold myself accountable.
SHIT TO GET DONE:
- finalize product list
- do tentative budget for the first year in business
- finish website
- raise capital (the goal is to launch with 0 debt)
- have initial inventory meeting with manufacturer
WAYS TO MAKE SURE I DO IT
- bring on a COO (having a second in command will increase productivity)
- break each goal down into mini goals
- host monthly makeup classes to raise capital
- work outside of the house (Barnes and Noble is my office)
- plan each day out
Realize that every small step is still in the direction of victory. Every mini and major goal completed is worthy of a celebration!
